Rakuten Travel FAQ

Do I always need a promo code to get a deal?

No. Some offers are sales or special rates that apply automatically on the official site, while others require a code at checkout.

Why did my coupon not work?

Coupons can have expiry dates, minimum spend rules, or restrictions on certain hotels, dates or plans. Review the terms and try again, or contact Rakuten Travel support.

Can I book ryokans on Rakuten Travel?

Yes. Rakuten Travel lists hotels and ryokans in Japan, so you can compare different types of accommodation in one place.
